Bethany was so welcoming! Wow… she’s amazing and so sweet,
I felt an instant connection with her, as if I’ve always known her! -Alyssa, Class of 2017
The Class of 2017 is shaping up to be pretty special. How do I know? Well, I’ve been lucky enough to get to meet some of the best and brightest seniors graduating this year…They are the leaders of tomorrow, and I’ve loved hearing how they’ll change the world. Alyssa is one of these seniors, and she says, “I love helping people and caring for them, and ever since I’ve been volunteering at the St. Mary’s hospital, I have fell in love with it even more! I love making and seeing people smile. It makes me feel really good”. She feels her big heart and caring spirit is leading her to pursue a degree in nursing, a field where I know she will be an amazing asset. Alyssa is also a talented athlete (soccer) at Apple Valley High School, and we were able to include her well-earned letterman’s jacket in our shoot. In her free time, she also holds down a part-time job at a local Starbucks, and says her personality would best be described as, “happy, adventurous, and caring”. I’d say these totally describe her sweet and spirited attitude!
When we first sat down to design and dream about her senior session, we were hoping for greenery and florals, but we neglected to remember it was snow season in Wrightwood! When we shifted gears, we made an even better plan to capture the winter goodness instead. Of course, the main focus was this girl and telling the story of her high school years. Alyssa adds, “I love and enjoy being surrounded by nature, and I wanted to even go beyond that them, and go on an adventure!” Nature was perfect for her shoot, and even the chilly temps didn’t stop her from wearing adorable, bohemian-inspired dresses and tops, and even her cap and gown. Thanks, Alyssa, for allowing me the privilege of being your senior photographer! I can’t wait to watch your bright future begin.
