Get ready for some serious sweetness, and maybe even a few tears today! I pretty much am a bundle of emotions when I look back on this session, because it is so beautiful and thoughtful. Meet Korey, who had the idea to have a surprise proposal for his girlfriend of almost four years, Laura. He talked with me and we planned this out over a few months. Korey told Laura that they were having a photoshoot for a magazine and being a portfolio couple for me, and she was super excited. Of course, it turned out that it was really his beautiful, fun, and heartfelt proposal. “I knew I was taking the next big step in our relationship, and I knew I wanted Laura to be my wife”, he adds, “She had no idea it was coming, and surprising her was the best part!

“Bethany was amazing”, continued Laura, “She knew all the perfect poses to capture during our photoshoot, and we were so comfortable with her. It was as if we knew her for years. It came naturally to us as she was shooting. I was so surprised, and loved that Korey also had included our parents watching, which was something I had always wanted”. Not only was the moment documented for this beautiful couple, but the scenery was absolutely stunning as well! The coastline and rocks were so romantic, and set the scene for this sweet memory. Laura’s stunning ring is from Top Hatter, and I made sure to get some snaps of it’s lovely sparkle! The two are now busy planning their big day, and Laura adds, “We do everything together, and planning our wedding will just build and strengthen our relationship as we take this next step in life!
