Ashley H | Senior Spokesmodels | Class of 2017

They say eyes are the window to the soul. When Ashley looks into yours, you can see exactly who she is. It was such a privilege capturing that moment in our shoot! Ashley loves the beach, so naturally she chose it for our shoot. The weather was gorgeous, and you can almost smell the salty air when you look at the photos. Ashley is part of the graduating class of 2017 from Oak Hills High School, and as she’s looking back at the years she’s spent there, she gives this advice to her younger peers: “Live in the moment, because adults aren’t joking. It goes by so fast.” Ashley seems to have taken this to heart, and her personality reflects this. She describes herself as “outgoing, caring and funny”, and this trait trio shined so brightly during our shoot. Her parents must be the same way, as she sees them as the most inspirational people in her life. “I don’t know what I’d do without them”, she says, “They are my best friends and my heroes.”

Ashley has big plans for her future. She is soon heading off to San Diego State University to major in psychology. “My school counselors were the key influencers in my life”, she explains, “they grew my love for psychology, and in the end were the reason SDSU became my dream school.” Her smile beamed as she talked about her plans. “I’m so excited to start college! I’m ready for this fresh new chapter in my life.” Before this chapter begins, Ashley keeps busy with Varsity Cheer, 4 School Clubs, Snowboarding, and modeling for BMP. Ashley has a great eye for fashion, and chose the most wonderful outfits for our shoot. She wore some of the prettiest dresses I’ve seen, and the sweater she wore worked well with the colors of the bamboo forest we visited, which became one of my favorite photos from our session. Everything fit together perfectly!

The shoot went by like a breeze. It went so smoothly, and I love the outcome! Ashley said, “I love BMP and Bethany, so I had no choice but to choose her since she’s the best. My favorite part was that Bethany made me feel so special the whole day.” It was such a joy to work with Ashley, and I wish her all the best as she moves from one chapter of her life to the next.
